Unconditional Love…

To love without any condition is to accept the other just as they are. That is to see through the person without judging them, expecting something from them, or even waiting back for something.

Anahata chakra symbolizes the consciousness of love, empathy, selflessness and devotion. On the psychic level, this center of force inspires the human being to love, be compassionate, altruistic, devoted and to accept the things that happen in a divine way. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

It is your ability to treat each one as a unique creation who therefore has their own unique relationship with God and know their own soul journey.

Unconditional love.. is to recognize and accept that you do not always know what is best for everyone around you, because you just love them and know they are doing the best they can at this very moment.

This is not an emotional state. We tend to associate the word “love” with emotions, however, unconditional love is more of an attitude. You begin to feel the benefits of such an attitude and how “ freeing” and liberating it is , once you start embracing it.

It opens the way to really making the best use of your energy and time for your own spiritual maturation.

There are many forms by which we can identify the attitude of unconditional love. A mother’s love to her children, children’s love to their parents, a partner’s love to his/her other partner..etc.  Through the attitudes of these different examples, we can see the power of unconditional love.

Some experts have said that we need four qualities in order to have a true, authentic unconditional love: friendliness or loving kindness, compassion, joy , and calmness. Through that, you will be able to see the right key for the right person and maintain your peace and calmness.

When we see happy people, cultivating a friendly attitude toward them will help prevent feelings of jealousy and envy. When we encounter those who are suffering, we should compassionately do what we can to help—for our own sake as much as for the person who is suffering.

In terms of chakras ( energy centers) in the body, judgments and expectations from  are solar plexus perceptions ( 3rd chakra), and the more the attention is held in these perceptions, the less likely one  feels  the heart chakra perceptions of what love really is.

While we often think that we are always surrounded by love, we are actually the ones that make the decision to put our attention on it, or to notice it, or to feel it. We are the ones who must decide for ourselves whether to love or not, and this decision must come as an aspect of free will, in order for it to make sense as a step in our evolution as humans. We all are capable of infinite acceptance to develop the attitude of unconditional love. When a mother stays the whole night next to her sick child, she does it with no conditions, when you decide to share your life with someone; you don’t tell them “I will marry you if…”, After all, there are many people we can love, without wanting to be their partner.

When the communication is clear in both directions, the love flows and is clearly expressed in both directions. The appreciation for the other continues to grow.

“Give the ones you love wings to fly, roots to come back and reasons to stay”, Dalai Lama.
